My Top 3 Morning Routine (to kick start an awesome day)

We all need to explore new ventures to keep life interesting, however those few fundamental routines we have can really make a positive impact on a daily basis! I want to share with you my top 3 favourite things I do every day to keep me positive, and their super easy!

1 – DOWN A GLASS OF WATER

Yes, this is my first step every single day. If you’re not a water lover, that’s okay there are plenty of ways to get this into your system! You have been deprived of water for 6-8 hours (or whatever your average sleeping period is). Your nervous system and skin will love you for the all to welcoming hydrating love you’ll give it. Thereafter, I make a cup of green tea for my next morning routine.

2 – Quick Yoga Session

Moving in the morning in the beginning can feel like such a chore, but boy oh boy doing a quick yoga session early in the morning is both physically and emotionally stimulating. If you’re not a yogi it’s fine too, moving and stretching early in the morning even if it’s just 15 minutes (that’s my average) that’s good enough! You are latterly waking your body and mind in a calm and energetic way. After the session you will feel so refreshed, positive and ready to take on your day heads on!

3 – Make a Healthy Shake/smoothie to Go

I love shakes! They are just the best! They make you full, you never feel bloated and it’s easy to eat in the mornings and plus it takes like 5 min max to make a complicated shake. I love the Herbalife shakes, they are low in sugar and high in protein, vitamins and minerals just what our bodies need!

I love experimenting with my shakes, especially the Vanilla cream flavour. The green smoothie is a must try!

Here’s the super quick recipe:

1 spoon Protein Drink Mix

2 spoons Vanilla cream flavour

1 handful of leafs

The rest water

How I make it

Mix the water and the powders together, thereafter add the baby spinach and blend it, then whole a green healthy, yummy smoothie! If you’re worried about the taste, don’t be it has a natural sweetness to it. This is a great shake if you want to am up your metabolism and energy levels!

As a bonus

I love listening to Jordan Peterson, his talks and lectures are true inspirations, and the manner in which he explains the human psyche is just phenomenal. He gives me that extra push during the day on a psychological and intellectual basis.
